4 beauty products I love by thecleopatrablog featuring Sally Hansen

1. Bioderma Sensibo H2O Micelle Solution Having very sensitive skin this works wonders. It not only cleanses the face but gently removes every ounce of make up off your face (and I mean every last bit) – even waterproof make up. It also soothes the skin and prevents feelings of irritation which a lot of make up removers don’t do. Especially great for those late nights when you’re too lazy to wash, tone, moisturise etc. (although I pretty much use it every night) Perfect for sensitive, normal to dry skin.
Available at: Dischem – R179.95 for 250ml.

2. Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser Nivea has been a family regular for a long time, I remember my elegant grandmother swearing by it.
Available at: Most cosmetic stores / super market – approx. R40

3. Earthsap Shampoo and Conditioner I discovered this a few months ago and I can really see the difference after using it. It’s made from all natural ingredients, is biodegradable, sulphate free and is not tested on animals. Your hair is shiny and healthy looking after using it and it reduces frizz. It’s also really inexpensive which is such a bonus.
Available at: Pick n Pay – approx. R39 for 250ml.

4. Sally Hansen Big Shiny, Top Coat– The reason I love this product is that it finishes your nail varnish with that glossy like look. It truly looks like you’ve just had gelish done.
Available at: Zando, Clicks or Dischem – approx. R79.

Give them a try and see how they work for you!

The Sleeveless Blazer

0
My recent purchase and obsession: this navy sleeveless blazer / waistcoat with sheer back from Zara. It’s super versatile and I love that its tailored yet you can just kind of throw it on. I’ve started seeing them pop into stores slowly such as Mango and Zara. This time I decided to layer it: base- grey shirt, middle- black three quarter sleeved top and lastly- sleeveless blazer. I also wore it with white skinny jeans the other day which I thought gave it a fresh look.
I’m wearing:
Grey tee- Zara
Black top- Zara
Sleeveless blazer- Zara
Jeans- Stradivarius
Grey boots- Country Road
Handbag- H&M
Necklace- Tally Weijl
Below I’ve illustrated a little ‘how to wear‘ guide on the sleeveless blazer.

*For an evening outfit or smart occasion you can wear it with a black vest/crop top underneath, heels and statement bag or clutch.
*For a more casual day look you can layer like I did or simply wear it with a slouchy tee or knit underneath.
*For work or for a more corporate and tailored look pair it with black tailored pants.
