Throwback to Cape Town Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2015

One of my first fashion weeks working for a publication, which meant loads of Instagramming and back up battery packs on tap. We also shot an editorial there as per the lovely Poppy Evans aka my #GirlBoss which I will definitely be posting.

End of a Chapter, Beginning of a New…

6
Good morning sunbeams,

What a raining day in Cape Town! I have officially finished my internship at Elle Magazine and yesterday we had a farewell tea in the office which included lots (and I mean LOTS) of cake consumption. Namely, a decadent chocolate gateau, cake pops and an amazing cheesecake topped with strawberries. I’m going to miss the team of #ELLEbelles so much! But, I am also excited to start a new chapter in my life.

Next month I fly off to Berlin for a week with my man, and then I’m off to Greece for just under a month. I am so excited because I also get to see my baby sis (who I haven’t seen in 5 months!!) and then two of my best friends join us in the lovely island of Mykonos.

This is an outfit I wore to work the other day. I may have borrowed this Tiger of Sweden coat from the #ELLE fashion closet 😉
I’m wearing:
White shirt-  Cotton On
Navy and denim twofer- Tally Weijl
Leather fit and flare skirt- Fashion Express
Stockings- Woolworths
Boots- ZOOM Footwear
Faux Fur Coat- Tiger of Sweden
Necklace- Aldo
Ring- Tessa Designs
Hand bag- Michael Kors

Florence Day #1

Florence is definitely one of the most charming places I’ve been to. Everywhere you look there’s something to snap at (which as a blogger can slightly overwhelm you) so you can imagine why it’s taken me ages to sift through all the photos I took. We stayed near the Duomo in the centre of town which i recommend as it’s vibey, convenient and close to the action. The Duomo in contrast to the one in Milan isn’t as intricate in it’s architecture but instead in it’s painted detail. If you ever plan a trip to Florence make sure you go to a market- there are several different type and you can find such nifty bargain buys. There are different ones on different days so check online!
It’s to expensive to eat out for every meal (especially with the Euro to Rand sitting at nearly R14) so we would picnic it for lunch usually!

Outfit #1:
White mullet dress- Zara
Sandals- Fashion Express
Chain bag- Vintage
Sunglasses- Market in Bangkok

Outfit #2:
Blue ombre op- Tally Weijl
Black skirt- H&M
Espadrilles- Aldo
